Infineon Technologies AG is a German semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1999, when the semiconductor operations of the former parent company Siemens AG were spun off. Infineon has about 50,280 employees and is one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. Their largest assembly and test facility with a total building area of 123,500 m² and a workforce of more than 8000 people is located in Melaka, Malaysia. We have supplied quarter-round, half-round and segment fabric ducting for every floor from their new 10th floor office tower that is able to accommodate up to 700 employees, comprising mainly engineers, managers, and business service experts, including IT and Finance. Thanks to a good marketing approach towards designers, only Prihoda and one other brand were prescribed for this project. While competing for this job, we faced tough price competition from the other supplier, a Chinese company. Fortunately, the clients recognised the higher quality of our products, supported by a professional air flow simulation, and they chose Prihoda. We expect more jobs in Infineon Technologies since they are happy with our work and expanding their factory in Malaysia.
